Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peadair McTom took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 13th minute Peadair McTom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teigue McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Carraroe Utd's Peadair McTom in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Doohat's goalie prevented a goal. Riley Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaby McIan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Doohat booed when Carraroe Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bearach Ghee didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Quinn Coyle came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Doohat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quinn Coyle couldn't finish the play. Peadair McTom might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teigue McPhilip. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peadair McTom ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peadair McTom in the 38th minute of play forced Doohat's goalkeeper Teigue McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Carraroe Utd's Darrick McLiam got a free kick in the 41st minute. Peadair McTom struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Teigue McPhilip didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carraroe Utd. After 46 minutes of play, Carraroe Utd's Damian Benson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teigue McPhilip was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barnaby McIan to make the kick off. Quinn Coyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peadair McTom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Teigue McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Benson might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teigue McPhilip. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Benson ran back to his position shaking his head. If Peadair McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teigue McPhilip made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Peadair McTom sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Caolán Moran in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Carraroe Utd's Bearnad Benson. After 85 played minutes Carraroe Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bearnad Benson. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carraroe Utd walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
