Spectators: 6850 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Peadair McTom kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cloonlavis's zone, Peadair McTom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bragan Rogers came out of the goal and Peadair McTom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the game, Cáirbre Delaney threw the ball into play from the sideline. Carraroe Utd's Thom Dimson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Paud Matthews struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Bragan Rogers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carraroe Utd. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Riley Robinson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Cloonlavis booed when Carraroe Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darrick McLiam didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Carraroe Utd's Thom Dimson got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the Carraroe Utd defense, Byrne McWilliam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Riley Robinson. The Carraroe Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Riley Robinson should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peadair McTom in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bragan Rogers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raonall McPhil hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Peadair McTom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Byrne McWilliam got free with Riley Robinson in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blake McWillie made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Carraroe Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Blake McWillie came free, but Riley Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carraroe Utd's Thom Dimson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cáirbre Delaney, made in the 62nd minute of the game. Damian Benson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bragan Rogers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Phelim Murphy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Riley Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peadair McTom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the match, Cloonlavis's goalkeeper Bragan Rogers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peadair McTom. Peadair McTom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bragan Rogers having to interfere. Peadair McTom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Troy Myler during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Carraroe Utd booed when Cloonlavis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Troy Myler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peadair McTom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Bragan Rogers made a huge save. Cloonlavis succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Carraroe Utd had controlled the match.
