Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Binne McPeter took the kick off in the first half of the match. Doohat were furious when Caolán Moran was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Doohat! Teigue McPhilip had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Bradigan McBjarton's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Killorglin's Binne McPeter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teigue McPhilip made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 14th minute, Boynton Frankson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bradigan McBjarton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bradigan McBjarton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Doohat's zone, Binne McPeter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teigue McPhilip came out of the goal and Binne McPeter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teigue McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Binne McPeter in the 23rd minute of play. Bradigan McBjarton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teigue McPhilip having to make a save. Teigue McPhilip came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Killorglin's Binne McPeter. But to his dismay, Binne McPeter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Doohat's goal looked a bit too open when Binne McPeter came free, but Teigue McPhilip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doohat's Teigue McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradigan McBjarton in the 36th minute of play. Biviti McTom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Teigue McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teigue McPhilip came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Killorglin's Biviti McTom. But to his dismay, Biviti McTom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Bradigan McBjarton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teigue McPhilip read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quinn Coyle to make the kick off. The supporters of Doohat booed when Killorglin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corey McBjarton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 minutes of play, Doohat's Quinn Coyle made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beehan McTommy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quinn Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beehan McTommy having to interfere. Bradigan McBjarton in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teigue McPhilip, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Killorglin's Binne McPeter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teigue McPhilip. That made the score 1-4 after 60 minutes of play. 65 minutes into the game, Bradigan McBjarton lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Teigue McPhilip. A hard shot 69 in the game by Binne McPeter from a close distance when the talented Teigue McPhilip managed to make a qualified save. Doohat's players were relieved. Bradigan McBjarton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Teigue McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Doohat's zone, Biviti McTom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teigue McPhilip came out of the goal and Biviti McTom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Binne McPeter in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teigue McPhilip, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Doohat's goalkeeper Teigue McPhilip, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Doohat's goal looked a bit too open when Bradigan McBjarton came free, but Teigue McPhilip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boylan McLiam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beehan McTommy having to interfere. Killorglin's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
