Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Seosamh Willson got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Attinkee booed when Flughany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkeley Lester didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Adamnan Robinson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Attinkee fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 11th minute, Attinkee's Beatty Ramsey ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bohannon Horgan. Bohannon Horgan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Attinkee's Gaynor McMichel got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Bell Colwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tierney Crowe in the 24th minute of play. If Seosamh Willson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Flughany's goal looked a bit too open when Beatty Ramsey came free, but Bohannon Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beatty Ramsey scored 4-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bohannon Horgan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Flughany defense, Beatty Ramsey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bohannon Horgan. The Flughany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bohannon Horgan should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beatty Ramsey to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Attinkee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beatty Ramsey to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, one of Flughany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Flughany. When Seosamh Willson came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Flughany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seosamh Willson couldn't finish the play. Bohannon Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beatty Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Adamnan Robinson fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 75th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. When Attinkee's Beatty Ramsey in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flughany's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Beatty Ramsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Attinkee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beatty Ramsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beatty Ramsey in the 85th minute of play forced Flughany's goalkeeper Bohannon Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breenan Caffey got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tierney Crowe. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Attinkee fully deserved thier win.
