In the 9th minute, Gaynor Moran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reidy Lavine struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Blathmac Ferguson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Letterlough. Blathmac Ferguson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barde Silke in the 13th minute of the match. Reidy Lavine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blathmac Ferguson having to interfere. The supporters of Letterlough booed when Benmore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Banbhan McJon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blathmac Ferguson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barde Silke in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Dalton in the 29th minute of play forced Benmore's goalkeeper Blathmac Ferguson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Benmore's goal looked a bit too open when Rollin McFrancise came free, but Blathmac Ferguson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Benmore's zone, Damian Dalton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blathmac Ferguson came out of the goal and Damian Dalton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the game, Letterlough's Barde Silke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blathmac Ferguson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Benmore players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Letterlough were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baine Moran was the one to do the kick off. Roland Dimson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baine Moran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Benmore's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Dalton came free, but Blathmac Ferguson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rollin McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blathmac Ferguson having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Letterlough's Barde Silke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blathmac Ferguson. That made the score 0-2 after 62 minutes of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Damian Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Letterlough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Dalton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bil Ferguson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 73 minutes of play, Letterlough's Barde Silke made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blathmac Ferguson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Benmore's zone, Rollin McFrancise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blathmac Ferguson came out of the goal and Rollin McFrancise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bodibeve Glen Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Berke Frankson kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Benmore's attentive Darrin Perth managed to snatch the ball when Bodibeve Glen Crowe made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. Letterlough's Reidy Lavine got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beacan Bayes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. A collision led to Letterlough getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Damian Dalton hit a great ball. The supporters of Letterlough booed when Benmore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baine Moran didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Letterlough left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Benmore.
