Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Beara McTom got the match started through his kick off. Timmons McDecland hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Pierce MaCollin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torna Hunt in the 8th minute. Pierce MaCollin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pearson Doherty in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Aghavas booed when Powerstown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradner Glen Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Powerstown's goal looked a bit too open when Beara McTom came free, but Pierce MaCollin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Aghavas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phillip McIan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donal McBrand in the 31st minute of play forced Powerstown's goalkeeper Pierce MaCollin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brannon Hutton in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dewayne Callaghan saved Aghavas from getting behind. After 33 minutes, Donal McBrand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aghavas and the Powerstown players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Powerstown booed when Aghavas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donal McBrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Mack Scully shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dewayne Callaghan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aghavas's Dewayne Callaghan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brannon Hutton in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Powerstown's goal looked a bit too open when Beara McTom came free, but Pierce MaCollin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Powerstown's Gearroid McStephen got a free kick in the 44th minute. Pierce MaCollin made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Torna Hunt sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brannon Hutton in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dewayne Callaghan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Brannon Hutton made the kick off in the second half. Alex Grant blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dewayne Callaghan having to make a save. If Brannon Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Braoin Dillon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierce MaCollin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beara McTom, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 69 played minutes Aghavas got a freekick which was hit by Beara McTom. In the 73rd minute, Donal McBrand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierce MaCollin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a rather tough play, Aghavas's Donal McBrand got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 82nd minute, Brannon Hutton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Powerstown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Pierce MaCollin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pearson Doherty in the 85th minute of the match. Pierce MaCollin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beara McTom in the 89th minute of play. The Powerstown players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Aghavas from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
