Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Barra Todd kicked off to start the match. Barra Todd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Beolagh McFrank made a precise shot to the right of Conan Benson. Nolagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Beolagh McFrank took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conan Benson. Conan Benson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Barney Todd took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Conan Benson. Nolagh's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Brakawn McNamee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dundalk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brakawn McNamee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dundalk's goalkeeper Pauric Coyle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Shea Molloy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Dundalk booed when Nolagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bresal Gollogley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Beolagh McFrank made a precise shot to the right of Conan Benson. Nolagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brakawn McNamee to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Nolagh's zone, Scott McGlenn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conan Benson came out of the goal and Scott McGlenn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Scott McGlenn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raonall Ryan kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Conan Benson came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dundalk's Beolagh McFrank. But to his dismay, Beolagh McFrank quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. A collision led to Dundalk getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Beolagh McFrank hit a great ball. If Bresal Gollogley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conan Benson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brakawn McNamee in the 75th minute of the match. Scott McGlenn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nolagh's Conan Benson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brakawn McNamee in the 78th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Nolagh got a freekick which was hit by Byrne McWilliam. Brakawn McNamee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conan Benson having to interfere. Bradagain Harkin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nolagh players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dundalk.
