Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Breanainn Doherty started the match with the kick off. If Byrne McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute Bren Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conan Benson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conan Benson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breanainn Doherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breanainn Doherty in the 20th minute of play forced Nolagh's goalkeeper Conan Benson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barra Todd struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Paudraig Johnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nolagh. Barra Todd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Nolagh getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Raonall Ryan hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Paudraig Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barra Todd in the 52nd minute of the match. Branson Gollogley came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Conan Benson could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Breanainn Doherty took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Conan Benson to make any attempt to save it. Nolagh's Conan Benson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breanainn Doherty in the 60th minute of play. Barra Todd scored 1-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paudraig Johnson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 73 played minutes Carrickmore got a freekick which was hit by Bedilia Hutton. When Bresal Gollogley came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Nolagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bresal Gollogley couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 78 in the game by Branson Gollogley from a close distance when the talented Conan Benson managed to make a qualified save. Nolagh's players were relieved. Bren Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Nolagh's goal looked a bit too open when Bedilia Hutton came free, but Conan Benson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Byrne McWilliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Paudraig Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
