Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dermod McCready kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Cianán Perth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cloonaquin's supporters rose to their feet, but Cianán Perth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rownun Murphy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cianán Perth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rownun Murphy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Tierney McJon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bradain McCready. Cloonaquin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tierney McJon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Coolmannan's goalkeeper Rownun Murphy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cianán Perth. In the 18th minute Dermod McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradain McCready saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beacan Sheridan in the 19th minute of play forced Cloonaquin's goalkeeper Bradain McCready to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Brendanus MaCollin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coolmannan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Brannan McSteven kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cianán Perth got free with Rownun Murphy in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Cloonaquin's goal looked a bit too open when Brendanus MaCollin came free, but Bradain McCready reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cianán Perth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rownun Murphy having to interfere. After the first half Coolmannan were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Begg Dimson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 54th match minute, Coolmannan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lee McJohn to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cloonaquin booed when Coolmannan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dermod McCready didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Cloonaquin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Payton Martyn to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Payton Martyn put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Cloonaquin getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Payton Martyn hit a great ball. Coolmannan's Dermod McCready got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Begg Dimson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The supporters of Coolmannan booed when Cloonaquin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pauric McTom didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Beacan Sheridan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rownun Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon McGlynn in the 79th minute of play. Bradain McCready made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dermod McCready in the 90th minute of play. Coolmannan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
