Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teigue McPeter to make the kick off. A collision led to Cloonaquin getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Pauric McTom hit a great ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Teigue McPeter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cloonaquin's Bradain McCready was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 60 played minutes Cloonaquin got a freekick which was hit by Pauric McTom. When Kealan McNamara fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Beara Glen Crowe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coileán McNamee in the 79th minute of the match. Cloonaquin's Bradain McCready played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teigue McPeter in the 82nd minute of play. Bailey Cooney's late challenge caught a Cloonaquin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bailey Cooney helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Drumaville got a freekick which was hit by Bailey Cooney. 87 minutes in the game Kealan McNamara did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Teigue McPeter. When Bailey Cooney came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Drumaville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bailey Cooney couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Drumaville's Bera Callaghan got a free kick in the 94th minute.
