Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cianán Perth started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 8th minute, Brannan McSteven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Coileán McNamee kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Bresal Gollogley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bradain McCready showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cianán Perth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Conan Benson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Brannan McSteven in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nolagh's Birr Crowe. Birr Crowe charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birr Crowe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cloonaquin booed when Nolagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birr Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barra Todd to make the kick off. Bradain McCready showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barra Todd, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Nolagh's Barra Todd got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Byrne McWilliam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nolagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Byrne McWilliam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradain McCready breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Byrne McWilliam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradain McCready having to interfere. In the 69th minute Cianán Perth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conan Benson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Byrne McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Nolen Deery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pauric McTom in the 87th minute of play forced Nolagh's goalkeeper Conan Benson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Brannan McSteven in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nolagh's Birr Crowe. Bradain McCready showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barra Todd in the 90th minute of the match. Nolagh were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cloonaquin to leave the ground with a draw.
