Spectators: 8421 (Terracing: 6316, Seating: 1937, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barra Todd started the match with the kick off. Barra Todd kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Breandan Cooney in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conan Benson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nolagh's Conan Benson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Nolagh from getting a goal against them. Sherlock Hunt hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barra Todd in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fintan Doherty saved Dundalk FC from getting behind. After 37 played minutes Dundalk FC got a freekick which was hit by Breenan Keegan. After 40 played minutes Dundalk FC got a freekick which was hit by Breenan Keegan. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Oliver Robinson made the kick off in the second half. Byrne McWilliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fintan Doherty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fintan Doherty came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Nolagh's Barra Todd. But to his dismay, Barra Todd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Nolagh's Barra Todd got a free kick in the 64th minute. Conan Benson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Robinson in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Nolagh booed when Dundalk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinny McTom didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Oliver Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dundalk FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Robinson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conan Benson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dinny McTom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conan Benson having to interfere. Conan Benson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Robinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barra Todd got free with Fintan Doherty in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute Oliver Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conan Benson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Although Dundalk FC had been in control for most of the match, Nolagh still came away with the win.
