Poulnalour's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Scot Sheridan in the 32nd minute. After taking down the ball on Poulnalour's corner Scot Sheridan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bran Caffrey quite easily take care of the ball. After 33 minutes, Pauric Gough mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Finuge Utd and the Poulnalour players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes, Poulnalour's Scot Sheridan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bran Caffrey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Poulnalour reached it. After 35 played minutes Poulnalour got a freekick which was hit by Sean McBrandon. The throw-in from Torrey Walker in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Poulnalour's Darrin McWilliam. The supporters of Finuge Utd booed when Poulnalour was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Scot Sheridan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raymond McLian who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Bran Caffrey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Poulnalour's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raymond McLian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Sean McBrandon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poulnalour's supporters rose to their feet, but Sean McBrandon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bran Caffrey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute, Raymond McLian reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bran Caffrey. The goal made the score 0-2. Raymond McLian hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Poulnalour walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
