Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Becan McOliver got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th match minute, Tyrrelstown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teris Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 16 minutes, Rorke McBjarton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Culleenduff AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rorke McBjarton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Teris Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tyrrelstown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teris Dempsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ardán McPhil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kealan McPhil in the 21st minute of play forced Culleenduff AFC's goalkeeper Ardán McPhil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Theobald McJames notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Culleenduff AFC's Ardán McPhil. Ardán McPhil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 26 minutes, Colm Cassin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Culleenduff AFC and the Tyrrelstown FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Culleenduff AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Colm Cassin hit a great ball. Tyrrelstown FC's Stéphane Lozano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Tyrrelstown FC from getting a goal against them. Bat Doyle was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Tyrrelstown FC. Kealan McPhil stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ardán McPhil. 0-2. 37 minutes into the match, Culleenduff AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Theobald McJames came free, but Ardán McPhil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tyrrelstown FC booed when Culleenduff AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bel Harkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Culleenduff AFC's Ardán McPhil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teris Dempsey in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teris Dempsey to make the kick off. Teris Dempsey kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Becan McOliver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kealan McPhil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ardán McPhil having to interfere. Culleenduff AFC's Ardán McPhil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theobald McJames in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Tyrrelstown FC's Kealan McPhil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ardán McPhil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Bel Harkin kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When Donoghue McPhilip fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tyrrelstown FC's protests and gave Donoghue McPhilip a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Culleenduff AFC booed when Tyrrelstown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donoghue McPhilip didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes Culleenduff AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rorke McBjarton. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gill McPhilip in the 79th minute of play forced Culleenduff AFC's goalkeeper Ardán McPhil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colm Cassin kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Donan Gallagher hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Tyrrelstown FC's Breed McAlphie was substituted for Aodh McCollion. A collision led to Culleenduff AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Donan Gallagher hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Carrig Silke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigan Crowe got free with Ardán McPhil in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Breed McAlphie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Tyrrelstown FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Culleenduff AFC throughout the match.
