If Teris Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute Torna Todd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stéphane Lozano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Bardain Rogers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Burke Palmer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Daniel McWill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel McWill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kealan McPhil in the 20th minute of the match. Daniel McWill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teris Dempsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Killanigan's goal looked a bit too open when Kealan McPhil came free, but Daniel McWill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel McWill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kealan McPhil, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 32 minutes of play, Tyrrelstown FC's Teris Dempsey made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel McWill was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute Aodh McCollion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel McWill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tyrrelstown FC's Stéphane Lozano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torna Todd in the 35th minute of play. Tyrrelstown FC's Burke Palmer got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Killanigan's Lewis Deans got a free kick in the 40th minute. Daniel McWill made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teris Dempsey in the 41st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Tevin McJohn put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Killanigan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beartlai McNamara made a kick off. A collision led to Killanigan getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lewis Deans hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes, Tyrrelstown FC's Kealan McPhil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel McWill came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tyrrelstown FC reached it. In the 62nd minute, Torna Todd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Kealan McPhil made a precise shot to the right of Daniel McWill. Killanigan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After having played for 67 minutes, Kealan McPhil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tyrrelstown FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kealan McPhil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Tyrrelstown FC's Kealan McPhil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel McWill narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Theobald McJames took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel McWill. Daniel McWill dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 76 minutes into the match, Killanigan's goal looked a bit too open when Rigan Crowe came free, but Daniel McWill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Brett McGlynn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Killanigan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tyrrelstown FC the free kick. In the 77th minute, Brett McGlynn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theobald McJames scored 8-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel McWill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brendon Scully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Stéphane Lozano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tyrrelstown FC made a substitution. Breed McAlphie replaced Aodh McCollion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theobald McJames in the 91st minute of play forced Killanigan's goalkeeper Daniel McWill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel McWill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigan Crowe, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Kealan McPhil made a precise shot to the right of Daniel McWill. Killanigan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Tyrrelstown FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
