Patton Callaghan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gill Ghee in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Poulnalour's goal looked a bit too open when Breannain Walker came free, but Patton Callaghan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 36th minute of the match Baird Prunty completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Baird Prunty a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 37th minute, Baird Prunty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Breannain Walker came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Branchfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breannain Walker couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kieran Bayes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brendon Silke charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brendon Silke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, Poulnalour was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendon Silke to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Breannain Walker dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Patton Callaghan, 0-1. 69 minutes in the game Raymond McLian did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Shey McAaron. After a rather tough play, Branchfield's Bhrighde Gollogley got a free kick in the 87th minute. When Darrin McWilliam fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poulnalour's protests and gave Darrin McWilliam a yellow card for diving instead. Darrin McWilliam kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Poulnalour's Patton Callaghan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Poulnalour from getting a goal against them. The Poulnalour fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Branchfield were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
