The supporters of Tyrrelstown FC booed when Branchfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rorey Quinnless didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute Kealan McPhil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branigan Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Branchfield defense, Theobald McJames kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Branigan Ghee. The Branchfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Branigan Ghee should have stopped the shot. Branigan Ghee made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Teris Dempsey sent off a good shot on target. Stéphane Lozano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baird Prunty in the 17th minute of the match. Stéphane Lozano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gill Ghee, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes Kealan McPhil rounded Branchfield's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. After some careless play in the Branchfield defense, Theobald McJames kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Branigan Ghee. The Branchfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Branigan Ghee should have stopped the shot. Branigan Ghee stood somewhat misplaced when Kealan McPhil came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. 29 minutes into the match, Tyrrelstown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gill Ghee came free, but Stéphane Lozano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stéphane Lozano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breannain Walker in the 30th minute of play. Branigan Ghee made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kealan McPhil in the 34th minute. Branchfield's Branigan Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theobald McJames in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Aodh McCollion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tyrrelstown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aodh McCollion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Branigan Ghee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the game, Tormaigh Prunty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Branchfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tyrrelstown FC the free kick. 45 minutes into the match, Branchfield's goalkeeper Branigan Ghee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theobald McJames. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gill Ghee to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Theobald McJames got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Branigan Ghee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theobald McJames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bhrighde Gollogley was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 61 minutes into the match, Teris Dempsey notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Branchfield's Branigan Ghee. Branigan Ghee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Teris Dempsey came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Tyrrelstown FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teris Dempsey couldn't finish the play. Branigan Ghee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kealan McPhil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Branigan Ghee came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Tyrrelstown FC's Burke Palmer. But to his dismay, Burke Palmer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aodh McCollion in the 73rd minute of play forced Branchfield's goalkeeper Branigan Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Branchfield defense, Kealan McPhil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Branigan Ghee. The Branchfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Branigan Ghee should have stopped the shot. Branigan Ghee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burke Palmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 78 minutes of play, Tyrrelstown FC's Kealan McPhil made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Branigan Ghee was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Branchfield's goal looked a bit too open when Rigan Crowe came free, but Branigan Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branigan Ghee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kealan McPhil, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Bhrighde Gollogley came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Branchfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bhrighde Gollogley couldn't finish the play. Stéphane Lozano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gill Ghee in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Branchfield's Gill Ghee ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stéphane Lozano. Stéphane Lozano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 9-1. After some careless play in the Branchfield defense, Theobald McJames kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Branigan Ghee. The Branchfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Branigan Ghee should have stopped the shot. Branchfield's Branigan Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigan Crowe in the 95th minute of play. Stéphane Lozano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gill Ghee in the 96th minute of play. Tyrrelstown FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
