Bairrionn Callaghan made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Logan Kelly sent off a good shot on target. Rusheens's Bairrionn Callaghan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Rusheens from getting a goal against them. Bairrionn Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaynor Jameson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Creeslough Utd's Gaynor Jameson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bairrionn Callaghan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gaynor Jameson struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Bairrionn Callaghan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Creeslough Utd. Bairrionn Callaghan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaynor Jameson's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Sean McCollion hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Logan Kelly lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Bairrionn Callaghan. Creeslough Utd's Keeghan McBrandon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis McIan in the 42nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Bairrionn Callaghan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Louis McIan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antaine Morrison's late challenge caught a Rusheens's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antaine Morrison helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, Creeslough Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antaine Morrison to maneuver through the defense. When Donegan McCollion came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Rusheens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donegan McCollion couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Creeslough Utd's Keeghan McBrandon got control of the ball when Louis McIan tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Logan Kelly in the 64th minute of play forced Rusheens's goalkeeper Bairrionn Callaghan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bairrionn Callaghan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadhg McLian in the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaynor Jameson in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bairrionn Callaghan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Logan Kelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bairrionn Callaghan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louis McIan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bairrionn Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaynor Jameson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antaine Morrison kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Creeslough Utd fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rusheens had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
