Spectators: 7540 (Terracing: 5550, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 150) Tyrrelstown FC's Teris Dempsey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 2 minutes, Briony Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rusheens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Briony Byrne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bairrionn Callaghan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theobald McJames, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Teris Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tyrrelstown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teris Dempsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bairrionn Callaghan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bairrionn Callaghan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theobald McJames in the 16th minute of play. George Cooney hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Kealan McPhil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bairrionn Callaghan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When George Cooney fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rusheens's protests and gave George Cooney a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tyrrelstown FC booed when Rusheens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Cooney didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th match minute, Rusheens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baiscend Cronin to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Rusheens's goal looked a bit too open when Kealan McPhil came free, but Bairrionn Callaghan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bairrionn Callaghan came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Tyrrelstown FC's Kealan McPhil. But to his dismay, Kealan McPhil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Bairrionn Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theobald McJames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teris Dempsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Tyrrelstown FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rusheens:s goal. Rusheens's George Cooney got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered George Cooney off the ground. In the 46th match minute, Rusheens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Cooney to maneuver through the defense. Kealan McPhil kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Briony Byrne made a kick off. If Kealan McPhil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the game, Joshua Costello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rusheens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tyrrelstown FC the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Rusheens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Costello to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 54 minutes, Teris Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beagan McMichel's late challenge caught a Tyrrelstown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beagan McMichel helped the player get up and apologised. Tyrrelstown FC made a substitution. Breed McAlphie replaced Theobald McJames. In the 78th minute, Beagan McMichel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kealan McPhil came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Tyrrelstown FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kealan McPhil couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donegan McCollion during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tyrrelstown FC booed when Rusheens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donegan McCollion didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Rigan Crowe notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Rusheens's Bairrionn Callaghan. Bairrionn Callaghan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bairrionn Callaghan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breed McAlphie in the 87th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Briony Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stéphane Lozano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Briony Byrne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stéphane Lozano having to make a save. When the final whistle sounded Tyrrelstown FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rusheens.
