Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rowe Morrison started the match with the kick off. Dennis Ramsey hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Barin Hamilton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Keeghan McBrandon. Creeslough Utd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Creeslough Utd booed when Bunnagippaun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gehan McCollion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaynor Jameson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Gehan McCollion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaynor Jameson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Creeslough Utd's Gaynor Jameson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bean Dempsey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Gaynor Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Creeslough Utd's Tadhg McLian got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bean Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaynor Jameson in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Creeslough Utd's Gaynor Jameson got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Brain Walker sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keeghan McBrandon skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Creeslough Utd's zone, Rowe Morrison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keeghan McBrandon came out of the goal and Rowe Morrison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 minutes of play, Creeslough Utd's Gaynor Jameson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bean Dempsey was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 37 minutes, Fachtna Barrett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Creeslough Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fachtna Barrett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaynor Jameson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bean Dempsey having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Fachtna Barrett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaynor Jameson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bunnagippaun's Bean Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaynor Jameson in the 53rd minute of play. Bean Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaynor Jameson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fachtna Barrett might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bean Dempsey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fachtna Barrett ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaynor Jameson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bean Dempsey having to make a save. In the 63rd minute, Dennis Ramsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Creeslough Utd's zone, Brain Walker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keeghan McBrandon came out of the goal and Brain Walker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rowe Morrison took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keeghan McBrandon. Keeghan McBrandon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Bean Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaynor Jameson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Gaynor Jameson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bean Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaynor Jameson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gaynor Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quinn Dimson hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Creeslough Utd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! In the 89th match minute, Creeslough Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadhg McLian to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Bunnagippaun's goal looked a bit too open when Fachtna Barrett came free, but Bean Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keeghan McBrandon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowe Morrison in the 96th minute of play. 99 minutes into the match, Creeslough Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Bragan McWillie came free, but Keeghan McBrandon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
