Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Blathmac Scully got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Begg Gillmour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th match minute, Culleenduff AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bat Doyle to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Scot Sheridan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Raymond McLian came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Poulnalour fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymond McLian couldn't finish the play. Begg Gillmour's late challenge caught a Poulnalour's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Begg Gillmour helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Poulnalour booed when Culleenduff AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Begg Gillmour didn't get a good kick on the ball. Culleenduff AFC's Ardán McPhil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond McLian in the 16th minute of play. Begg Gillmour got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Blathmac Scully. Darrin McWilliam hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th match minute, Culleenduff AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Begg Gillmour to maneuver through the defense. Blathmac Scully hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th match minute, Culleenduff AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Begg Gillmour to maneuver through the defense. Raymond McLian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ardán McPhil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ardán McPhil came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Poulnalour's Raymond McLian. But to his dismay, Raymond McLian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Culleenduff AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Poulnalour were winning 0-1.

Bat Doyle kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Scot Sheridan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poulnalour's supporters rose to their feet, but Scot Sheridan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ardán McPhil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Sean McBrandon with Raymond McLian as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Poulnalour's Scot Sheridan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Begg Gillmour in the 64 minute of the game. Sean McBrandon made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Raymond McLian however managed to control. A sloppy throw-in by Begg Gillmour in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Poulnalour's Brendon Silke. Poulnalour's attentive Brendon Silke managed to snatch the ball when Begg Gillmour made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Ardán McPhil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raymond McLian in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blathmac Scully in the 91st minute of play forced Poulnalour's goalkeeper Patton Callaghan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Poulnalour's Shey McAaron ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ardán McPhil. Ardán McPhil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Culleenduff AFC's Ardán McPhil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Culleenduff AFC from getting a goal against them.
