After a rather tough play, Killanigan's Danann Caffrey got a free kick in the 11th minute. Torna Todd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Berk McAaron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brendon Scully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. One of Killanigan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Inishcarra:s goal. In the 42ndth minute of the game Torna Todd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inishcarra's Berk McAaron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Rorke Gough came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Inishcarra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rorke Gough couldn't finish the play. After 48 minutes of play, Inishcarra's Rorke Gough made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel McWill was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Killanigan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Inishcarra were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Scot Sheridan to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Tevin McJohn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berk McAaron was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Daniel McWill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scot Sheridan, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Tevin McJohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rorke Gough's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Daniel McWill skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tevin McJohn took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berk McAaron. Berk McAaron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Berk McAaron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beartlai McNamara, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Torna Todd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killanigan's supporters rose to their feet, but Torna Todd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berk McAaron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scot Sheridan in the 97th minute of play forced Killanigan's goalkeeper Daniel McWill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute Beartlai McNamara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berk McAaron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Although Killanigan had been in control for most of the match, Inishcarra still came away with the win.
