Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raymond McLian kicked off to start the match. Killanigan's Daniel McWill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond McLian in the 4th minute of play. Killanigan's Brett McGlynn managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sean McBrandon in the 8 minute of the game. Lewis Deans's late challenge caught a Poulnalour's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lewis Deans helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Killanigan getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Lewis Deans hit a great ball. If Raymond McLian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tevin McJohn in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patton Callaghan saved Poulnalour from getting behind. Raymond McLian in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel McWill, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Braonain Ferguson made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Braonain Ferguson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killanigan's supporters rose to their feet, but Braonain Ferguson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patton Callaghan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 54 played minutes Killanigan got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Deans. After a rather tough play, Killanigan's Lewis Deans got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond McLian in the 57th minute of play forced Killanigan's goalkeeper Daniel McWill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes of play, Poulnalour's Raymond McLian made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel McWill was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brendon Silke kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Poulnalour got a freekick which was hit by Raymond McLian. The supporters of Killanigan booed when Poulnalour was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Scot Sheridan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel McWill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond McLian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Poulnalour's zone, Braonain Ferguson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patton Callaghan came out of the goal and Braonain Ferguson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel McWill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond McLian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, Poulnalour could leave the field as winners, despite Killanigan having more of the ball for most of the match.
