Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gill Ghee started the match with the kick off. Finuge Utd's Bran Caffrey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Finuge Utd from getting a goal against them. Branchfield's Baird Prunty managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Torrey Walker in the 7 minute of the game. Branigan Ghee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pauric Gough in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes in the game Coran Silke did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bhrighde Gollogley. If Gill Ghee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Doney Martyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Finuge Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Doney Martyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Branigan Ghee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Pauric Gough got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doney Martyn charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doney Martyn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Finuge Utd getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Doney Martyn hit a great ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Gill Ghee who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Finuge Utd's Bran Caffrey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Finuge Utd's Bran Caffrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gill Ghee in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Finuge Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doney Martyn to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Finuge Utd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Branchfield's Gill Ghee got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of Finuge Utd booed when Branchfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breannain Walker didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Gill Ghee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bran Caffrey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pauric Gough made the kick off in the second half. Branchfield's Branigan Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doney Martyn in the 52nd minute of play. Finuge Utd's Bran Caffrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breannain Walker in the 55th minute of play. Gill Ghee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bran Caffrey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Branchfield getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Bergin Dillon hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gill Ghee in the 72nd minute of play forced Finuge Utd's goalkeeper Bran Caffrey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doney Martyn got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Doney Martyn hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Breannain Walker scored 2-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bran Caffrey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Branigan Ghee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pauric Gough in the 82nd minute of play. Branigan Ghee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pauric Gough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breannain Walker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bran Caffrey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Baird Prunty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Branchfield players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
