Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pauric Gough made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Finuge Utd! The audience was convinced that Rowe Morrison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bran Caffrey was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Finuge Utd's Bran Caffrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rowe Morrison in the 11th minute of play. Bran Caffrey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowe Morrison in the 12th minute of the match. Pauric Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute Brain Walker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bran Caffrey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bran Caffrey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowe Morrison in the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Rowe Morrison cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bran Caffrey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Finuge Utd's Pauric Gough got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rowe Morrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Pauric Gough kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bean Dempsey. That made the score 1-2 in the 39 minute of play. Pauric Gough who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Bean Dempsey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half Bunnagippaun were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rowe Morrison made the kick off in the second half. Doney Martyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th match minute, Finuge Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pauric Gough to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brain Walker during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bunnagippaun getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Brain Walker hit a great ball. Finuge Utd's Bran Caffrey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Finuge Utd from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pauric Gough in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bean Dempsey saved Bunnagippaun from getting behind. Rowe Morrison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Bran Caffrey made a huge save. Doney Martyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bean Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Finuge Utd's Pauric Gough got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Brain Walker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bunnagippaun's supporters rose to their feet, but Brain Walker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bran Caffrey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute of the match, Rowe Morrison got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bran Caffrey was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bran Caffrey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brain Walker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doney Martyn's late challenge caught a Bunnagippaun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doney Martyn helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Finuge Utd got a freekick which was hit by Doney Martyn. Bean Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doney Martyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Rowe Morrison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Bran Caffrey made a huge save. Bunnagippaun's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
