Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Breccan Dempsey took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Coolroe's Salmon Walker slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gearóid McJon. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. 11 minutes into the game, Breasal Taylor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Brannon Sheridan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gearóid McJon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curran Cassin in the 15th minute of the match. When Breccan Dempsey fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coolumber's protests and gave Breccan Dempsey a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Coolumber's Breccan Dempsey got a free kick in the 16th minute. Gearóid McJon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curran Cassin in the 17th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Coolumber's goalkeeper Gearóid McJon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Curran Cassin. A collision led to Coolroe getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tory Scully hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Coolroe's goal looked a bit too open when Breccan Dempsey came free, but Brannon Sheridan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coolumber's Gearóid McJon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Coolumber from getting a goal against them. Curran Cassin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gearóid McJon having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raymond McJohn during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Raymond McJohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justin Matthews hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Salmon Walker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gearóid McJon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Brakawn Gough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannon Sheridan having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Breccan Dempsey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coolumber fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 59th minute, Curran Cassin made a precise shot to the right of Gearóid McJon. Coolumber's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Coolumber's Harrigan Dimson suffered a concussion in the 63rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. A collision led to Coolroe getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Salmon Walker hit a great ball. Brannon Sheridan had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Breccan Dempsey's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Curran Cassin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coolroe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coolumber the free kick. Curran Cassin hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Curran Cassin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gearóid McJon having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Coolroe's Royan Doyle got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Coolroe's zone, Breccan Dempsey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brannon Sheridan came out of the goal and Breccan Dempsey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Begg McBrand kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Salmon Walker took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gearóid McJon. Coolumber's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Despite being the better team, Coolumber failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
