Kilsob AFC were furious when Shea Grant was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 42 played minutes, Rangers's Heron Sheridan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Boyle McJames came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rangers reached it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Boyle McJames was left in no man's land by his defense there! Breasal Willson's late challenge caught a Rangers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breasal Willson helped the player get up and apologised. Breasal Willson kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
