Comhghall Quinnless showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginald McAlphie in the 35th minute of the match. Heron McBjarton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cornamona booed when Moyvane FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Britain Ramsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beale McJames was the one to do the kick off. Beothach McJames made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Moyvane FC's Brendon Scully. In the 57th minute, Cornamona's Dolan McAaron seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dolan McAaron the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cornamona protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dolan McAaron had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 58 played minutes Cornamona got a freekick which was hit by Dolan McAaron. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cornamona's goalkeeper Comhghall Quinnless, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beothach McJames kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Brendon Scully ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Comhghall Quinnless was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 70 played minutes Moyvane FC got a freekick which was hit by Barram Tracy. With a little luck, Moyvane FC's Thom Mullan got control of the ball when Beale McJames tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dolan Ramsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brendon Scully fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comhghall Quinnless having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Beale McJames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Comhghall Quinnless didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brendon Scully went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Moyvane FC were the better team. Moyvane FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
