Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute, Corey McGlenn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rowley Harkin in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thom Mullan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiarnan McLiam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginald McAlphie in the 5th minute of play. Bree Deery hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Lavey's Tiarnan McLiam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Scully in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Lavey got a freekick which was hit by Todd McVictor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon Scully in the 23rd minute of play forced Lavey's goalkeeper Tiarnan McLiam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brendon Scully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tiarnan McLiam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lavey's Tiarnan McLiam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren McLian in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Lavey got a freekick which was hit by Becan McSteven. After a rather tough play, Lavey's Rowley Harkin got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 33rd match minute, Lavey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rowley Harkin to maneuver through the defense. Lavey's Tiarnan McLiam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Scully in the 35th minute of play. Britain Ramsey's late challenge caught a Lavey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Britain Ramsey helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Moyvane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Britain Ramsey to maneuver through the defense. Boru Dillon, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Moyvane FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Becan McSteven to strike the kick off in the second half. Becan McSteven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Thom Mullan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Moyvane FC booed when Lavey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rorry McDecland didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes in the game, Reginald McAlphie fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tiarnan McLiam having to interfere. A collision led to Moyvane FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Reginald McAlphie hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Becan McSteven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lavey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tiarnan McLiam made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Heron McBjarton sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, Moyvane FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rowley Harkin came free, but Thom Mullan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moyvane FC's Derin Mulvihill was substituted for Britain Ramsey. Moyvane FC's Heron McBjarton managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Todd McVictor in the 81 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Todd McVictor in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Moyvane FC's Heron McBjarton. Todd McVictor made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rorry McDecland.
