Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bradner McTommy made the kick off and thus started the match. When Bragan Perth came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Reenroe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bragan Perth couldn't finish the play. If Bradner McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Brendann Bayes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Comhghall Quinnless. The goal made the score 1-0. After 11 minutes, Rowley Prunty mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reenroe and the Cornamona players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Cornamona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beothach McJames to maneuver through the defense. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Reenroe's Bradner McTommy in the 18th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Comhghall Quinnless was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Cornamona through an amazing save. Reenroe were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Cornamona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Breslin Dunne took the corner. Comhghall Quinnless showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rowley Prunty, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Brendann Bayes scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Comhghall Quinnless, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Comhghall Quinnless showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradner McTommy in the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Brendann Bayes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Comhghall Quinnless was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Comhghall Quinnless made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brendann Bayes in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Bradner McTommy notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Cornamona's Comhghall Quinnless. Comhghall Quinnless was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donncha McCollion to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Brendann Bayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comhghall Quinnless saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Comhghall Quinnless showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bragan Perth, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Cornamona's Comhghall Quinnless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendann Bayes in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradner McTommy in the 60th minute of play forced Cornamona's goalkeeper Comhghall Quinnless to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Comhghall Quinnless showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendann Bayes in the 64th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Donncha McCollion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caolán Dempsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Comhghall Quinnless showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradner McTommy in the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Cornamona getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bebhinn Callaghan hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Bradner McTommy notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Cornamona's Comhghall Quinnless. Comhghall Quinnless was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brendann Bayes took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Comhghall Quinnless. Comhghall Quinnless dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After some careless play in the Cornamona defense, Bradner McTommy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Comhghall Quinnless. The Cornamona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Comhghall Quinnless should have stopped the shot. Comhghall Quinnless made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradner McTommy in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cornamona's zone, Bradner McTommy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Comhghall Quinnless came out of the goal and Bradner McTommy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cornamona's Comhghall Quinnless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradner McTommy in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Reenroe players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
