Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Blathmac Keegan started the match with the kick off. Gearalt Murphy kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Sheridan Beckett made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Curran Cassin sent off a good shot on target. Foxhill's Sheridan Beckett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Foxhill from getting a goal against them. Foxhill's Sheridan Beckett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salmon Walker in the 22nd minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Foxhill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rownun Todd to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Salmon Walker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coolroe's supporters rose to their feet, but Salmon Walker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sheridan Beckett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Foxhill booed when Coolroe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curran Cassin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Salmon Walker fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coolroe's protests and gave Salmon Walker a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Coolroe got a freekick which was hit by Salmon Walker. Sheridan Beckett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salmon Walker in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Foxhill's Blathmac Keegan got a free kick in the 37th minute. Justin Matthews charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justin Matthews the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Coolroe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justin Matthews to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute of the match Blathmac Keegan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brannon Sheridan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Salmon Walker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Sheridan Beckett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Salmon Walker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sheridan Beckett having to interfere. A collision led to Foxhill getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rownun Todd hit a great ball. Curran Cassin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th match minute, Foxhill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Killian Doherty to maneuver through the defense. When Curran Cassin came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Coolroe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Curran Cassin couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Salmon Walker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coolroe's supporters rose to their feet, but Salmon Walker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beary Dempsey made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Foxhill's Pembroke McLaughlin. 71 minutes into the match, Foxhill's goal looked a bit too open when Curran Cassin came free, but Sheridan Beckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antaine John hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Foxhill's Sheridan Beckett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curran Cassin in the 78th minute of play. When Curran Cassin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 88 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sheridan Beckett was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Coolroe's Justin Matthews got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 96 minutes into the game, when Royan Doyle put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Foxhill booed when Coolroe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Royan Doyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute Blathmac Keegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brannon Sheridan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Foxhill were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
