Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Darragh Coyle got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Rangers's Torrey McVictor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thom Mullan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Moyvane FC's Thom Mullan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torrey McVictor in the 6th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Reginald McAlphie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moyvane FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reginald McAlphie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Farrell McFrancise breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 played minutes Moyvane FC got a freekick which was hit by Dolan Ramsey. Reginald McAlphie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Farrell McFrancise made a huge save. 18 minutes into the game, Barram Tracy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Farrell McFrancise. Barram Tracy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 25th minute of the match Heron Sheridan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thom Mullan skillfully saved the ball. 28 minutes into the game, one of Moyvane FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Rangers. Heron Sheridan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Thom Mullan. 1-2. In the 35th minute, Reginald McAlphie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Farrell McFrancise was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Thom Mullan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darragh Coyle in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Rangers's goalkeeper Farrell McFrancise had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brendon Scully. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brendon Scully made a kick off. After some careless play in the Rangers defense, Reginald McAlphie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Farrell McFrancise. The Rangers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Farrell McFrancise should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute, Brann McLiam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Reginald McAlphie came free, but Farrell McFrancise reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon Scully in the 68th minute of play forced Rangers's goalkeeper Farrell McFrancise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thom Mullan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desmond McFrancise in the 72nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerald Moran during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gerald Moran kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Gerald Moran hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the game, Brendon Scully cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Farrell McFrancise was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Farrell McFrancise came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Moyvane FC's Brendon Scully. But to his dismay, Brendon Scully quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. After 87 played minutes Moyvane FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerald Moran. Farrell McFrancise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendon Scully in the 92nd minute of play. Thom Mullan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darragh Coyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Moyvane FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
