In the 11th match minute, Lavey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artt McStephen to maneuver through the defense. Tiarnan McLiam made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Dane Doyle sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Lavey getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Rorry McDecland hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Becan McSteven in the 23rd minute of play forced Illanbaun Utd's goalkeeper Pat Harkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pat Harkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Becan McSteven in the 39th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Cleary Mulvihill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Tiarnan McLiam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Illanbaun Utd's Pat Harkin got control of the ball when Rowley Harkin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pat Harkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fergal McWill in the 72nd minute of the match.
