With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brendon Scully in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beiti Quinnless saved Derrymullen FC from getting behind. Brogan Doyle's late challenge caught a Moyvane FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brogan Doyle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, one of Derrymullen FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Derrymullen FC. Reginald McAlphie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thom Mullan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boyd Walker, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Beiti Quinnless showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendon Scully, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginald McAlphie in the 46th minute of play forced Derrymullen FC's goalkeeper Beiti Quinnless to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Balor Gillmour during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Derrymullen FC's goalkeeper Beiti Quinnless, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Derrymullen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barram Tracy came free, but Beiti Quinnless reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beiti Quinnless made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Brendon Scully sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, Reginald McAlphie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Brendon Scully managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moyvane FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendon Scully was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moyvane FC's Brendon Scully got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heron McBjarton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barram Tracy hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Derrymullen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barram Tracy came free, but Beiti Quinnless reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Derrymullen FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Moyvane FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
