Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Blathmac Keegan kicked off to start the match. After 7 played minutes Ranaghy got a freekick which was hit by Bellaghy McBrand. Foxhill's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Bradigan McJohn scored to the left of an out of position Sheridan Beckett, making the score, 1-0. Iarla Colwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blathmac Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Bradigan McJohn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sheridan Beckett. Bradigan McJohn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Artuir Cassin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Pembroke McLaughlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sheridan Beckett came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Ranaghy's Bradigan McJohn. But to his dismay, Bradigan McJohn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 44th minute, Ranaghy's Rorry Moran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sheridan Beckett. Sheridan Beckett yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bradigan McJohn made a kick off. After some careless play in the Foxhill defense, Bradigan McJohn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sheridan Beckett. The Foxhill fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sheridan Beckett should have stopped the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Ranaghy's goalkeeper Iarla Colwell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danann Savic. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Bradigan McJohn sped through Foxhill's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sheridan Beckett. After 67 played minutes Ranaghy got a freekick which was hit by Bellaghy McBrand. Bradigan McJohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Sheridan Beckett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blathmac Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Iarla Colwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Ranaghy's goalkeeper Iarla Colwell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danann Savic. Payton McStephen made in the 85th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Danann Savic. The Ranaghy support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
