During the 21st minute of the match Brendann Bayes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Brendann Bayes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 27 minutes into the game, Rowley Prunty recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiarnan McLiam. Rowley Prunty showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 33rd minute Rowley Prunty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiarnan McLiam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rowley Prunty fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reenroe's protests and gave Rowley Prunty a yellow card for diving instead. Rowley Prunty hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 39 minutes, Bowie Cooney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lavey and the Reenroe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bragan Perth scored 4-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiarnan McLiam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiarnan McLiam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rowley Prunty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Lavey's goal looked a bit too open when Rowley Prunty came free, but Tiarnan McLiam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Lavey's goal looked a bit too open when Bragan Perth came free, but Tiarnan McLiam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Reenroe had played much better football throughout.
