The Ballyclider fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A collision led to Turkstown getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Brenainn Barrett hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Binne Branson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breanainn Kirby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bhrighde McJames fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turkstown's protests and gave Bhrighde McJames a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Turkstown's Denny McFrank got a free kick in the 95th minute. Doney Byrne didn't quite understand what happened when in the 96 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When the final whistle sounded Ballyclider left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Turkstown.
