Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bearnad Ferguson took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Moylough's Leonard Dimson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jack Harkin. Jack Harkin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Braydon McSteve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bearnad Ferguson in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Moylough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shiel Jameson to maneuver through the defense. Jack Harkin made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Torin Beckett sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th match minute, Ballyneen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donncha Beckett to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Derry Prunty recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jack Harkin. Derry Prunty showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Jack Harkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Dimson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Todd scored 3-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Braydon McSteve, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Moylough booed when Ballyneen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Costello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Hughes charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Hughes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonard Dimson to make the kick off. Brendon McNamee came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Braydon McSteve could save by the left post. Bearnad Ferguson hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes Ballyneen FC got a freekick which was hit by Kevion Beckett. In the 62nd minute, Derry Prunty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jack Harkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torin Beckett in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Alex Todd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braydon McSteve was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Breandan Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Alex Todd left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballyneen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. In the 76th minute, Torin Beckett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Moylough's goal looked a bit too open when Bearnad Ferguson came free, but Braydon McSteve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bearnad Ferguson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braydon McSteve having to interfere. Ballyneen FC's attentive Kevin Hughes managed to snatch the ball when Breandan Hutton made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. If Bean Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Todd took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Braydon McSteve. Braydon McSteve dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. 95 minutes into the match, Moylough's goal looked a bit too open when Bearnad Ferguson came free, but Braydon McSteve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Dimson in the 98th minute of play forced Ballyneen FC's goalkeeper Jack Harkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Moylough were the better team. Moylough's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
