Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Buach Deans started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Beag John hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ballyclider defense, Samuel Torres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Suibhne Myler. The Ballyclider fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Suibhne Myler should have stopped the shot. Emil Gondela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buach Deans in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Cavallaro in the 16th minute of play forced Ballyclider's goalkeeper Suibhne Myler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Gondela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Buach Deans in the 17th minute. Domenico Cavallaro kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Torres in the 22nd minute of play forced Ballyclider's goalkeeper Suibhne Myler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Buach Deans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Suibhne Myler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Torres went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If Domenico Cavallaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cianán Cassin hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyclider's zone, Samuel Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Suibhne Myler came out of the goal and Samuel Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Samuel Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballyclider's Suibhne Myler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Honorato Quintyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Ballyclider players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Salthill Zárate were winning 0-4.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuel Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emil Gondela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Buach Deans in the 53rd minute of play. Salthill Zárate's Emil Gondela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blathma Hamilton in the 57th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Torres got free with Suibhne Myler in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Braydon McAlphie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doney Byrne took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emil Gondela. Salthill Zárate's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Salthill Zárate's Samuel Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Suibhne Myler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Blaire McFrancise hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Beag John from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Suibhne Myler's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Suibhne Myler made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Samuel Torres sent off a good shot on target. When Cianán Cassin fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballyclider's protests and gave Cianán Cassin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Ballyclider was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cianán Cassin to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Salmon Jameson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salthill Zárate's Iwan Rzentkowski was substituted for Domenico Cavallaro. A collision led to Salthill Zárate getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Salmon Jameson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyclider's zone, Iwan Rzentkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Suibhne Myler came out of the goal and Iwan Rzentkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, Ballyclider's goalkeeper Suibhne Myler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Torres. Blaire McFrancise hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Suibhne Myler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Torres went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Ballyclider's Suibhne Myler got control of the ball when Samuel Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salthill Zárate played a much better game than Ballyclider and deserved their victory. The Ballyclider players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
