Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brenden Scully made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 3 minutes, Rowe Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irishtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rowe Coyle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th minute of the match, Barcvni McWilliam tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nollaig Benson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kealan Hunt in the 7th minute of play forced Eskerboy's goalkeeper Breannain Gallagher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breannain Gallagher came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Irishtown's Donall Cronin. But to his dismay, Donall Cronin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donall Cronin in the 16th minute of play forced Eskerboy's goalkeeper Breannain Gallagher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Donall Cronin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brenden Scully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Nollaig Benson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Irishtown's Nollaig Benson got control of the ball when Baran Todd tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nollaig Benson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barcvni McWilliam in the 29th minute of play. Breannain Gallagher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donall Cronin in the 31st minute of the match. Breannain Gallagher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kealan Hunt in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rowe Coyle in the 36th minute of play forced Eskerboy's goalkeeper Breannain Gallagher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Eskerboy's goal looked a bit too open when Donall Cronin came free, but Breannain Gallagher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Breannain Gallagher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kealan Hunt, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Timothy Prunty had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nollaig Benson. Irishtown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timothy Prunty was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 45th minute Donall Cronin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breannain Gallagher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donall Cronin to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Irishtown's Ciarán McCready got a free kick in the 51st minute. Nollaig Benson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brenden Scully's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Baran Todd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nollaig Benson having to interfere. Kealan Hunt in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Breannain Gallagher, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 66 minutes, Brion Coyle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Irishtown and the Eskerboy players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Irishtown getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Brion Coyle hit a great ball. Nollaig Benson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barcvni McWilliam in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Irishtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donall Cronin to maneuver through the defense. Baran Todd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breannain Gallagher made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Rowe Coyle sent off a good shot on target. Eskerboy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Rowe Coyle scored to the left of an out of position Breannain Gallagher, making the score, 1-3. Eskerboy's Breannain Gallagher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donall Cronin in the 86th minute of play. Breannain Gallagher came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Irishtown's Kealan Hunt. But to his dismay, Kealan Hunt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Breannain Gallagher made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Rowe Coyle sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute, Irishtown's Donall Cronin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Breannain Gallagher. Breannain Gallagher yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Breannain Gallagher was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Kealan Hunt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kealan Hunt really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6.
