Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Eskerboy's Brenden Scully started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Breannain Gallagher made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Leonard Dimson sent off a good shot on target. Leonard Dimson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breannain Gallagher having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brenden Scully in the 16th minute of play forced Moylough's goalkeeper Braydon McSteve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Bean Kelly reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Breannain Gallagher. The goal made the score 1-0. If Bean Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Leonard Dimson came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Moylough fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Dimson couldn't finish the play. After 26 minutes, Brain McFrancise mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eskerboy and the Moylough players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Eskerboy got a freekick which was hit by Brain McFrancise. Torin Beckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breannain Gallagher made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Leonard Dimson sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the game, Moylough's Derry Prunty nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Breannain Gallagher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Eskerboy's Breannain Gallagher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Eskerboy from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Braydon McSteve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barcvni McWilliam in the 53rd minute of play. Breannain Gallagher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derry Prunty in the 57th minute of play. Breannain Gallagher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breandan Hutton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Moylough's Braydon McSteve got control of the ball when Brenden Scully tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bearach Tracy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breannain Gallagher having to interfere. Bean Kelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patrick Gough hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Bearach Tracy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Torin Beckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Breannain Gallagher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Dimson's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Patrick Gough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braydon McSteve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timothy Prunty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eskerboy's Breannain Gallagher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bean Kelly in the 96th minute of play. Moylough walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
