Emil Gondela came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Greenhall FC's Boddibevve McWill. But to his dismay, Boddibevve McWill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Randal McIan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salmon McIan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Cavallaro in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Greenhall FC's Bercan Beckett got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Samuel Torres made a precise shot to the right of Salmon McIan. Greenhall FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Torres in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salmon McIan saved Greenhall FC from getting behind. Honorato Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Salmon McIan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salmon McIan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bohannon McBjarton in the 26th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Aban Matthews got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Boddibevve McWill kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emil Gondela. That made the score 3-1 in the 37 minute of play. Rowland Harkin hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Bercan Beckett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Emil Gondela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Kevis Dempsey kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Boddibevve McWill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Gondela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Honorato Quintyn took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salmon McIan. Salmon McIan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Randal McIan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Greenhall FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Randal McIan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Gondela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Randal McIan made a precise shot to the right of Emil Gondela. Salthill Zárate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedict Cassin during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benedict Cassin kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Salmon McIan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 79 minutes into the match, Greenhall FC's Boddibevve McWill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Gondela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Samuel Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Douglas Delaney fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Greenhall FC's protests and gave Douglas Delaney a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Salthill Zárate's goalkeeper Emil Gondela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Greenhall FC's Briony McCollion got a free kick in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Salthill Zárate players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Greenhall FC.
