Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Harley McPaul took the kick off in the first half of the match. Strand's Boyne McSteven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brion Quinnless in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Strand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiarnan Taylor to maneuver through the defense. After 10 minutes, Gearóid Willson made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Strand's Boyne McSteven tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brion Quinnless in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boyne McSteven prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harley McPaul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmiro Millapan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Boyne McSteven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brion Quinnless in the 16th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Strand's goal looked a bit too open when Brion Quinnless came free, but Boyne McSteven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Strand's goal looked a bit too open when Gearóid Willson came free, but Boyne McSteven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Glassillaun's Brion Quinnless sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boyne McSteven narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A beautiful save bye Strand's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Glassillaun getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Cáirbre Doherty hit a great ball. Boyne McSteven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brion Quinnless's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Strand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiarnan Taylor to maneuver through the defense. Boyne McSteven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brion Quinnless, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When Tiarnan Taylor fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strand's protests and gave Tiarnan Taylor a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Strand getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Tiarnan Taylor hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brion Quinnless stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Strand's Boyne McSteven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brion Quinnless in the 52nd minute of play. Britain Cassin struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Boyne McSteven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glassillaun. Gearóid Willson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiarnan Taylor kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Devlin Grant blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boyne McSteven having to make a save. After 75 minutes of play, Glassillaun's Britain Cassin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boyne McSteven was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gearóid Willson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84thth minute of the game Brion Quinnless who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strand's Boyne McSteven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brion Quinnless's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boyne McSteven read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Brion Quinnless took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Boyne McSteven to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Strand's Boyne McSteven got control of the ball when Gearóid Willson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Strand fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Glassillaun were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
