Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Banan Barrett made the kick off and thus started the match. Tate McBrand kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trien Doherty in the 7th minute of play forced Gracedieu's goalkeeper Beacan Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robustiano Tino took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beacan Hunt. Beacan Hunt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Shamrock Rovers's Charly Meulemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Banan Barrett in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Robustiano Tino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shamrock Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Robustiano Tino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beacan Hunt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Banan Barrett hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Robustiano Tino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beacan Hunt. Gracedieu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robustiano Tino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tate McBrand during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gracedieu's Tate McBrand got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Sean Deery sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beacan Hunt skillfully saved the ball. Trien Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robustiano Tino made a kick off. Richard Gallagher made in the 57th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Blian Beckett however managed to control. If Banan Barrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Blian Beckett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gracedieu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Robustiano Tino came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Shamrock Rovers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Tino couldn't finish the play. After 68 minutes of play, Gracedieu's Blian Beckett made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charly Meulemans was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute, Blayne Myler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Gracedieu's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Tino came free, but Beacan Hunt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Banan Barrett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charly Meulemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes in the game Richard Gallagher did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Blian Beckett. If Boyne Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, Trien Doherty dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Beacan Hunt, 2-3. If Trien Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shamrock Rovers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
