Kilbeggan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Beacan Caffrey scored to the left of an out of position Ravan Savic, making the score, 1-0. Breslin McNamara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Ravan Savic made a huge save. 21 minutes into the game, Boru McStephen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Beairtle Glen Crowe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th match minute, Kilbeggan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boru McStephen to maneuver through the defense. Breslin McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boru McStephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beacan Caffrey made a kick off. Branagain McWillie kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Beacan Caffrey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ravan Savic. Kilbeggan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beacan Caffrey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Harkin Rutherford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Tullykinroe's goalkeeper Beairtle Glen Crowe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boru McStephen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boru McStephen in the 72nd minute of play forced Tullykinroe's goalkeeper Beairtle Glen Crowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kilbeggan's Ravan Savic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beacan Caffrey in the 74th minute of play. Breslin McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Boru McStephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beairtle Glen Crowe having to interfere. Ravan Savic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beacan Caffrey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beacan Caffrey hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Harkin Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Beairtle Glen Crowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tullykinroe had played much better football throughout.
