Bercnan Robinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Seosamh Palmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Ballyconra Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Seosamh Palmer came free, but Bercnan Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dennis McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bercnan Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seosamh Palmer in the 19th minute of the match. Bartley Dunne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis McTommy in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Cacey Ramsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute of the match, Barrie Morrison tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bartley Dunne saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bercnan Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seosamh Palmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes Ballyconra Utd got a freekick which was hit by Cacey Ramsey. A collision led to Ardlona getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Eamonn Ryan hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caoilte McIan during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Caoilte McIan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ardlona's Garrett McJohnny tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyconra Utd's zone, Seosamh Palmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bercnan Robinson came out of the goal and Seosamh Palmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Seosamh Palmer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bercnan Robinson was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Bartley Dunne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barrie Morrison in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Seosamh Palmer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aban Barrett kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Seosamh Palmer's late challenge caught a Ballyconra Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seosamh Palmer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ardlona getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Seosamh Palmer hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Seosamh Palmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dennis McTommy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bartley Dunne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cahir McOliver charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cahir McOliver the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Ballyconra Utd's Bercnan Robinson got control of the ball when Seosamh Palmer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Seosamh Palmer hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Seosamh Palmer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bercnan Robinson. The goal made the score 0-1. If Dennis McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belock Doherty kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Bartley Dunne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacey Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ballyconra Utd's Cahir McOliver managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aban Barrett in the 91 minute of the game. The supporters of Ballyconra Utd booed when Ardlona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eamonn Ryan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dennis McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ardlona had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
