After some careless play in the Doonsheane AFC defense, Andrew McBrandon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rowe Doyle. The Doonsheane AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rowe Doyle should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Beccan McLaughlin in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Clooncoose's Irwin Tracy. After 64 minutes of play, Clooncoose's Andrew McBrandon made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The Clooncoose fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Donavan Harkin kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
