In the 7th minute Breannain McPaul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendan McJon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brendan McJon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 34th minute, Bat McWilliam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Banvan McSteve made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Geisill FC's Bren McSteve. With a little luck, Geisill FC's Aengus Willson got control of the ball when Berchan Caffrey tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turlough Hutton in the 43rd minute of play forced Tinacarra Utd's goalkeeper Brendan McJon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Turlough Hutton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brendan McJon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The Tinacarra Utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Geisill FC were winning 0-4.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Bat McWilliam got free with Brendan McJon in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute of the match, Turlough Hutton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Brendan McJon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bren McSteve hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Brendan McJon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turlough Hutton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tinacarra Utd's Banvan McSteve got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Turlough Hutton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Brendan McJon. The goal made the score 0-5. A collision led to Geisill FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Tiarnan McAaron hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Turlough Hutton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Brendan McJon, 0-6. 81 minutes into the match, Geisill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Berchan Caffrey came free, but Aengus Willson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Dermot McTom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Geisill FC's Breannain McPaul tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Brendan McJon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turlough Hutton in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tinacarra Utd's Brecc Jameson got a free kick in the 91st minute. The supporters of Geisill FC booed when Tinacarra Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Costello didn't get a good kick on the ball.
