Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Patton McWill took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Geisill FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Bat McWilliam hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the game, Coran McDecland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballyguin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geisill FC the free kick. After 5 played minutes Ballyguin got a freekick which was hit by Coran McDecland. Geisill FC's Bat McWilliam got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 13 played minutes Geisill FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiarnan McAaron. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Geisill FC's goalkeeper Aengus Willson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aengus Willson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patton McWill in the 19th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Barde Lester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bodibeua McWillie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ballyguin were furious when Coran McDecland was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ballyguin! Ballyguin:s Bodibeua McWillie showed great skill when he stopped Barde Lester:s penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Turlough Hutton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geisill FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Turlough Hutton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bodibeua McWillie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bat McWilliam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Bodibeua McWillie made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turlough Hutton in the 41st minute of play forced Ballyguin's goalkeeper Bodibeua McWillie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiarnan McAaron kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Wawrzyniec Tomiczek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aengus Willson having to make a save. The supporters of Ballyguin booed when Geisill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barran Lavine didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wawrzyniec Tomiczek during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wawrzyniec Tomiczek kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Bodibeua McWillie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bat McWilliam in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Turlough Hutton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bodibeua McWillie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bodibeua McWillie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turlough Hutton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Geisill FC got a freekick which was hit by Turlough Hutton. Bodibeua McWillie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turlough Hutton in the 85th minute of play. Bodibeua McWillie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barde Lester went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Geisill FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
