Terence Coyle kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Dillon Scully could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Bairee Dalton made a huge save. Rorry Perth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bhrighde McLaughlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Clarina AFC's goalkeeper Bairee Dalton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bhrighde McLaughlin. Leonard Lester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terence Coyle in the 29th minute of play. Rorry Perth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bairee Dalton having to interfere. In the 38th minute of the match, Rorry Perth tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bairee Dalton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bairee Dalton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breck Mulvihill in the 39th minute of play. Dillon Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute, Caherlane's Breck Mulvihill dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Leonard Lester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Britain Morrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dillon Scully stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Clarina AFC defense, Bhrighde McLaughlin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bairee Dalton. The Clarina AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bairee Dalton should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute Terence Coyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute Clarina AFC were awarded a corner. Terence Coyle went to the cornerflag to take it. Suibhne McSteve was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Bairee Dalton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breck Mulvihill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clarina AFC's Bairee Dalton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bhrighde McLaughlin in the 64th minute of play. Bairee Dalton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Breck Mulvihill went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Caherlane booed when Clarina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suibhne McSteve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donavon Frankson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bairee Dalton. Clarina AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 88th minute Breck Mulvihill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bairee Dalton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Clarina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bhrighde McLaughlin came free, but Bairee Dalton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Clarina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Breck Mulvihill came free, but Bairee Dalton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Caherlane had played much better football throughout.
